In It's Right Place

As I grow older

I want to remember

All the precious moments in my life

That made me stronger

But as I grow taller

And as I falter

I won’t forget the dreadful moments

That made me weak or

All the tears I’ve cried

All the fears I’d hide

Let them grow sharp as the sun

And roll me over

The field of life

Be careful of the rye

There’s a fall there in the distance

But still play as you like

I’ll always protect you

I’ll never neglect you

You always said that but now I feel I finally believe you

Dreams are special but no matter how sweet

How beautiful a landscape with the right heat

Or how comfortable, they can’t replace

The warmth I felt when you held me in your embrace

And now I realize how right you were

You always are
